Professional Journey
Professional & Educational Journey...
Donna Stuart, LMT

I was born and raised in Montana and have been a Montana practicing massage therapist since 1998 after completing studies and receiving certification from Rocky Mountain School of accomplishment I met while also studying at Rocky Mountain College, and, while at the same time, assisting to develop and working full-time as the Admissions Coordinator to the Rocky Mountain College Physician Assistant Pro

Immediately upon receiving certification from Rocky Mountain School of Massage, I
created a business in a fitness club called "Muscle Massage."  You see, the environment of fitness clubs are like a second home to me as I have always been a member of one in every state that I have lived in; and furthermore, when I travel, I choose to obtain day passes and experience the diversity of environments of fitness clubs around the country even to this very day.  And so, since fitness clubs were (and still are) like a second home to me, at that time, I thought blending my profession into that environment would be the perfect I set up Muscle Massage in a fitness club in Billings.  As I continued to work my profession in the fitness club, I took awareness to the idea that something just was not right...the noise of the environment was just too loud and the feeling of the environment was just not right either...not complete...something or many things seemed to be missing.

So, after a little while, I sought after a quieter environment to work my profession; and I found a tanning salon that had an open room for I decided to relocate Muscle Massage there.  The tanning salon was somewhat quieter than the fitness club; however, something still just didn't feel right...and I could not seem to identify what it was.  I continued working my profession while leasing space from that tanning salon for only about four months...until I spiral broke the bones of my right thumb during a crash landing I encountered while I was winter skiing the slopes at Red Lodge Mountain.  The spiral breaking of my right thumb required immediate surgery to place plates and screws that were to remain in my right thumb for over one year...and then, a follow-up surgery was required to remove the hardware.

Since I had to place the physical aspect of my professional working day on hold for some time, I began to productively reflect on my profession...and, who I was...and I just knew that I needed to fully bring to light my gifts and talents and intuition to create and bring into our community the idea of  At 1 With The Earth; and furthermore, I just knew I had to create a place and an environment that was on its own and a direct reflection of who I am.

The idea of At 1 With The Earth has been developing over the past many years and while I have been working more quietly in the community, now is the time to move forward offering up my full personality and natural gifts, talents, intuition, and dedicated hours of education to those who seek for such.

Also, during my time of reflection, the massage profession in Montana was moving toward the requirement of endeavor which I fully welcomed.  Since July 2010, the State of Montana has been regulating the profession of massage therapy and all massage therapists were, and are still, required to obtain and renew a professional license to work.

Learning and progressing and focusing on my profession in massage therapy and energy work is of great worth to me.  Even though the State of Montana requires 12 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain licensure...I continue to study and secure continuing education each year so that I may continue to bring forward the power of knowledge to enhance the on-going progression of the benefits you receive here, At 1 With The Earth.
